I completely forgot about it. I watched a movie, when it was over my satellite said it was 3 am. I was pretty pissed that I watched such a long movie when I could of done something else. But when I checked it was because of the time going forward.

And I hate people who constantly text message on their damn cell phones. I was at the theatre and this dick beside wouldn't stop. I could hear it vibrating each time he recieved a message and when he would open his phone the whole area whould light up. After 30 minutes of it I told him to stop. Me being much bigger than him, he listened. Oh and Norbit is a horrible movie.

I'm so tired. Stupid daylight savings time. My body thinks I woke up at 6:50 this morning.

the news here in Portugal said it was to encourage people to save energy. if it really works then i don't see why not..

i feel tired btw, after the footie game on Saturday i decided that i had to start working out regularly. there's a very nice park about 5 minutes from where i live and i ran there for a bit until sunset, when for some reason the plants started smelling like this particularly strong cheese they make up in the mountains in Portugal.

That sucks dude. Losing a pet always sucks.

Azrael, consumption is another name for tuberculosis. I was attempting to make a funny at your expense and seem to have failed.

Man Sifl, that sucks! Losing a pet is a terrible experience. I've been through it once and I'm afraid my rabbit won't survive this year

Thanks guys I highly appreciate it, and Im sorry Im about a month late on the responses...I've just been fairly busy lately with the movie and catching up with school work. I entered the film into a tech fair last Thursday and lost...oh well, we won last year. I talked to the one judge and he said it was a fairly close call, so I guess it didn't necessarily suck. My one friend won first place for his animation though, so he'll be going to states in a few months.

Confused. I'm going to an antique auction today with my old-things-junkie-mom and and a friend to scout for a good painting to give away as a birthday present.
I don't know if I should look forward to it or dread this day.

they said that here too, but they also said that the data that supported this was about 12 years old, and since then paterns of energy use have shifted in a way that it might not help at all, but hell, worth a shot.

I'm not sure I would have called it cool, but we got out of there pretty quick while leaving my mom in the queue for a painting we found. She enjoys it more anyway, but we lost the bid to someone else.
Meaning I have to look around today in other places. Oh, joy.

Does anyone in the world do it besides the US and Canada use Daylight Savings Time? Actually I live in Arizona and we don't use it.

It was 70º out, and I decided to take a vacation day and go fishing. Unfortunately, it was casting practice. :lame:

me and my friends are looking to rent a house somewhere in the south of Portugal for a week or so for our holidays. does anyone know a website where we can find one, besides homeliday.com?

EDIT - for 2 reasons we won't be able to rent last year's house again:
1. after legend of our exploits last summer got around, quite a few people wanted to join the group for this summer.
2. we broke most of the glasses and mugs and a drunk chick threw up all over the sheets in one of the rooms. also the front door got stuck, but i swear it wasn't out fault

It's this big department store, mostly stuff for your home. There's departments like sports, electronics, housewares, seasonal(outside stuff), automotive etc..

I'm not sure what the American, or even European variant of Canadian Tire is.

I think it would be more like Home Depot, except we have those in Canada too.

I guess, except Home Depot doesn't have electronics, sports or kitchen ware, I don't believe.
