God Dethroned are fucking awesome their last album (the toxic touch) wasnt groundbreaking IMO but if you want to get their best you should defintely get THE GRAND GRIMOIRE, awesome release.

Noted. Cheers man.

The played a song called Boiling Blood I thought was fuckin' awesome, and the song they closed on (I'm guessing it's one of those always closes the show songs) was also :dio: .

Yeah, Boiling Blood is from the album Bloody Blasphemy another good release. Well almost all of God Dethroned releases are good but the new ones tend to be less heavy and more accessible.. I would say their worst release is The Lair Of The White Worm, which isn't as bad as some describe it..

'Into the Lungs of Hell' is a pretty cool CD too. The new one is very :dio:.

I haven't heard the new one yet but the three that I own (Ravenous, Into The Lungs of Hell, and Lair of the White Worm) are all great with Ravenous being my favorite.

I like The Lair Of The White Worm. I like it a lot. Arch Enemy Spain! :dio:

Ravenous is a great album, so is Bloody Blasphemy. The Christhunt and The Grand Grimoire rock as well. Into The Lungs of Hell is imo their weakest, but it still has a few outstanding songs as well, especially the title track. I guess the basic idea is you can't go wrong with any God Dethroned.

However, Radagast, since I think you listen most to power/heavy, I'd say go first for their latest, The Toxic Touch. It's their most melodic. And it's also a killer. I think it's gonna be in my top 20 this year.

My first GD album was Bloody Blasphemy. I loved it. Have listened to just one other album of theirs, Ravenous and that's pretty damn good too. They are one of my fav bands. Haven't been able to get their other albums due to non accessibility. May order them online in a while.

They were thrashy until and including Ravenous, which was awesome. Then came Into The Lungs Of Hell, which is very nice death metal, but after than it kinda sucks.

Nice pick, you got something from their thrash/death era, which is most awesome.

Yeah, Bloody Blasphemy is my favorite of theirs. I especially like Serpent King, The Execution Protocol and Soul Capture 1562, but the entire album is quite awesome in my mind. Nice buy!

Agreed. I really liked their oldest stuff as well but the last couple albums seems pretty formulaic. Similar career path to Amon Amarth.

Certainly, I didn't like anything post-Crusher by Amon Amarth.

Awesome album cover on Ravenous as well.
