I gotta give this band their due. I first bought Madness from Sensory a few weeks back for $2.50 (what a price!). I got the CD and fucking loved it! So I then bought Madtropolis off of eBay for $0.88 plus S&H. I got the CD and fucking love it! Then last week I bought The Last Millenium from Sentinel Steel for $5.88. I got the CD today and I fucking love it!

Man, it's a great thing when you hear a band that you like and then go out and buy a few albums and none disappoint! I still don't know a lot about this band, but I'm slowly doing my research. I know they have two more albums, their debut, Horrorscope, and their latest, Take No Prisoners. I'll assume both kick ass, although the cover for the latest album kind of makes it look like a swing album. Have they sold out?

Basically this your standard power metal band, nothing original in style, just some catchy as all hell melodic power metal. All three albums are awesome! In fact, this site reviewed the three I have and gave them the following scores: 90/100 (Madness), 88/100 (The Last Millenium), 78/100 (Madtropolis). Damn good scores.

This band's audio links on their site don't work, it appears Metal Blade dropped them, and I can't find a myspace page, so click the Yahoo! link for samples of three albums (the three I have) and I also threw one track from each album up on Yousendit. Do check them out if you've not heard them.

Usually in Boston, but online you can find some great deals ocassionally, too. When I find deals online that others can benefit from, not just one-off deals, I'll post about them.

SENTINEL STEEL is always a good option. Den is cool as fuck and his used/clearance section has a lot of killer shit. He's got them separated by price range: $5.88, $7.88 and $9.88, and some a bit lower, but those are usually CDs that have serious wear. A lot of his used shit has bonus tracks, too, so it's well worth it. Plus, his regular stock is awesome, lots of killer CDs.

Anyways, its a good album, not great. I really like their I Stole Your Love cover. Around a 75/100. Definately worth 2.50 haha.

Absolutely! You can't beat that. But yeah, Chinchilla are your run-of-the-mill power metal band, but they're good. I don't listen to them and go, "Ugh. I've heard this before." It's damn good, just nothing new.
