I love you guys, but please don't do a double album. They almost are never worth it.

True.

But if anyone could pull it off, they can.

I don't know... Succesful concept albums (and especially succesful double concept albums) require a type of intelligence that Priest has been lacking since Stained Class.

Yeah but sometimes concept albums can stand on their own even if the concept sucks, as long as the music is great.

+1

I think Priest is back to their glory days after 'Angel of Retribution'. And I hope they continue with the great level of musicianship that they showed in that album. It's hard to predict how this new album is gonna turn out, but I have a feeling it will be pure headbanging anthems.

I think Priest is one of the bands who can excel even with crappy lyrics. Electric eye was pure gayness is lyrics. But the music made up for it.

True. And a double album doesn't necessarily mean two 79-minute albums. They could write 83 minutes of music and that would have to be a double album in order to fit it all.

I'm a music connoisseur; I eat it up. The more the merrier!
