In my computer :P

I've only seen the two first episodes of season 6, so I've got lots of watching to do.

I feel good, things are better than they've been for the last month or so.

Not too well, she's depressed now but every time I see her she tries to provoke me into an argument so it's hard for me to want to be supportive.

 That's a shame. I just assumed you saying stuff was better meant maybe she was doing ok.

Nah, mostly that my gf and I have gone like 3 days without fighting. We survived the first hard time of our relationship

I think call centres are the only jobs that do this, but don't stress, I think they call you to see how good your English is, then they'll drag you in for an appetitue test. As long as you can talk and have ears that work, you'll be ok.

I fear I may have to return to a 'centre by the end of March as I'm jobless after it, bah!

Yeah it went pretty ok I think. If the worst comes to the worst, it at least means I don't have to do the job

Cool, good work man!!. I'd love to be a student again, there's so much reckless, 'not giving a fuck about things' feel back in those days. I hope you get it, but don't er... beat yourself up if you don't!!

Yeah, I love being a student, wish I could continue being one after this year.

Or could I? Maybe I could be Dr. Rio, awesome!

Yes, being in education is great, and you don't have to worry about the scary real world.

 Dr Rio would have a ring to it! When I did my call centre time, there were loads of ex-students who started at the same time, and no disrespect to you or them, but they were like, 'oh, this is just a jolly until I go back to my real calling in life', but when it had sunk in (like twelve months later), that there was no more studying to do, they couldn't 'slack' off anymore and they had to pay off their big, fuck off, debt, the humble pie they ate was quite heartbreaking (for them at least, us 'Olds' just knew from day one).

Oops, sorry Rio, didn't mean the downer rush. Er, yeah, do a masters dude!

Well, I was kind of like that after my undergraduate. I worked at this software company and became self-sufficient finally, although I couldn't afford to pay off debts or anything, just live on my own without scabbing money. Then this year I am doing a masters, and it is kind of depressing to be back where I was, unable to support myself. If I ever managed to do a PhD to become Dr Rio I would have to get some big fat grant from somewhere. So yes, it's back to the real world in September. Hopefully I can get something I will enjoy doing, like an apprenticeship at some cool NGO or something, that would be the best case scenario for me.
