Joey! Joey! Joey fuckin' Tempest!

This is the chant I helped start that went from 5 people to about half the audience at the Europe gig the other night. Yeah, Europe rock. :dio:

Rotting Christ - SHITE!

But Incantation and Malevolant Creation were in support so it wasn't a total loss.

Saw Zemial and Horna last wednesday. Horna delivered well as usual and Zemial really surprised me. Very good band indeed. And that was also the first time I saw a drummer singing on a gig. All in all, a good night that was indeed.

I saw Psycroptic, the Furor and Pathogen 2 nights ago. :dio:

The Furor's drummer also did vocals.

UK dates postponed to the end of May. How were Masterplan? I know Saxon were amazing, you don't need to tell me that.

They were ok, but there sound was bit blurry to me. When Saxon entered the stage it was way better.

Amazing. Im still buzzing from it, I was in the seats right behind the pit, but I made a run for it. And I made it. I will post more tomorrow.

On friday, Pelle Miljoona (Finnish punk legend) did an acoustic set at some dive near my friend's place. The gig wasn't anything special, but the night was otherwise pretty mental.

Some highlights:

I almost got in two fights (once in the bus on my way there and once at the pub). Both times i was just trying to bail a very drunken friend out of a fight.

Some guy gave my friend 100 euros while we were waiting for food at the take-out outside the pub. That happens all the time really, but the weird thing is, he didn't even ask him for any sexual favors. I quess the dude had just won the lottery or something?

I ended up watching movies and crashing at some chicks place who was substantially older than me. She gave me her ex-boyfriend's guitar.
