I got this yesterday two. I think Disc one kicks so much ass it isn't even funny. I love the normal fem vocals but her voice is so familiar, she with any other bands?

Disc 2 leaves me somewhat cold because it is more like their Deggial and Vovin albums which I like ok, but don't need to hear much. It was on sale for the price of one so no biggie but disc 1 really is fantastic.

I think it's outstanding. I love both discs; both have a very different feel to them.

Yeah, but you have Vovin or Deggial you don't need the 2nd disk. Dude who the fuck is that chick singer on the 1st disc, she owns.

Hey guys, what are your thoughts about Snowy Shaw on the album? does he deliver? i mean, he sure has competition here, because IMO Mats Leven is an amazing vocalist, ive only heard Snowy on notre dame and i wasnt very impressed.

Which parts does Shaw sing? There sounds like about 50 different vocalist on there, if he does the deep cleans, then yes, he is excellant.

Whoa...that's exactly how I feel about this CD. I thought I was nuts! I'm having the hardest time getting through the 2nd cd. I've tried listening to it at least 5 different times while I'm sitting here doing classwork. The first disc contains great stuff but I'm finding the second disc to be a bit...this will sound bad...ordinary. :omfg:

I just got it. I like it but...

I don't know. It seems like Therion goes Dream Theatre. Probably just need some time to absorb it.

Yeah, give it a few spins. I wasn't really sure about it first either, but I have grown to really enjoy it.

It really shows the ability that Therion has in making constantly brilliant music... from the beginning of their symphonic era that is. On the other hand, I haven't really heard much from their Death Metal times, either.
