It makes me wonder why leee is even here if he's not interested in new bands.

I like to read reviews and talk about stuff I like. Why do I have to all the sudden like new bands or go on a hunt for new stuff and generes to expand my taste? I don't want to? I know what I like? I am always open to some new Black Metal or Goth stuff if it is good though. So mostly when I come here I scan some reviews if I see they are from those Genres and I haven't heard of them before.

I don't know, it's like going to a different restaurant every night just to order a cheesburger.

But if that makes me happy does it matter really?

Of course not! It's still weird, though.

You will see in a few years why.......... 7 or 8 years ago I was all about checking new shit out when I just got back into metal after a hiatus, but now I am content.......

No way. I have definitely gotten less and less interested in trying everything and anything, instead going back to my roots and listening to a lot of rock and metal mostly. I hardly doubt that I'll ever not have a desire to hear new music. No way.

I've kinda lost interest in hearing new music for the last month, although I have been checking out bands I heard like a year and a half ago and though sucked.

I'll say it again, when you constantly download music for free you'll never hear it enough to let it sink in.

Yeah true, but I also discover wayyy more bands that I'm madly in love with and memorize their albums.
