After getting over 50 replies to the orginal thred I think it would been better with a poll to keep the count. Therefore I put together a poll for the best rock artist of all-time based on your favorites on that last thred. If your favorite is not here then you can only be ashamed that you did not vote earlier in the last poll or sad that you did not get anybody convinced that you were right, since I did not take names that only got one vote into this poll.

The Eagles and Ted Nugent but no Thin Lizzy? For shame... :omfg:

Anyway, it doesn't matter cos I would have ultimately voted for Zed Leppelin anyway.

Out of those I went with Gary Moore, because his 80's albums are awesome. Pink Floyd came in as a close second though.

I chose Pink Floyd. Not necessarily because I consider them the best rock artist of all time (saying things like that is simply immature, what is best really and with what objective criteria?) but simply because I like them more than the rest. The Wall helped me become a better human.

I need to listen to more Zappa >_<

I voted Jethro Tull, 'cuz they're my favourite. Although King Crimson, Floyd and Zeppelin probably are the biggest influences on bands I like.

I went with Rush because they are my favorite on the list. Still, "greatest rock band ever" is one hell of a title to give a band. Is it really worth it with so many great artists throughout history? And why are Bon Jovi and The Eagles on the list? Has enough time gone by to cover up the fact that both bands sucked?

No Deep Purple? I would have voted Zeppilin eithier way, but that's just wrong leaving one of the most influential bands ever off of the list. Ditto that for Thin Lizzy.

I went beatles. But its hard to pick ONE band as the "Best Evar!!1!!!!", theres so many worthy acts out there.
