Do you think it would be possible that Ritchie would yet release another Rainbow album. I think Dio and Ritchie should team up for one more album, that would really be one of the brightest hardrock or metal highlights of the the decennium. A reunion with Deep Purple would also be indeed very intresting. Blackmore's Night isn't anything that grabs my intrest at all...

He seems happy enough doing his mediaeval stuff, and I do like. Village Lantern is great!

He'll never work with Ian Gillan again, I can tell you that much. I'm not sure I'd like him to try another Rainbow album (with Dio, I mean) if he isn't in the right frame of mind for it. But the idea of a 60 year old man trying to go abck into rock/metal territory after 10 years playing rennaissance-faire music isn't an encouraging one.

Meh. Blackmore's Night is great. That lady, whatever her name (Candice?) indeed has a beautiful voice.

I dunno, I haven't really seen many reunions that've actually led to anything worthwhile. And I agree that time would probably be against it..

Blackmore's Knight is stellar stuff, Steve Morse is doing good things in Deep Purple, and Dio is on the road with Sabbath. All is right with the world, and Ritchie would just be a little prima donna bitch and run Dio off anyways. It's what he does.
