Yeah, but he has to have at least 10,000 more by now.

And I wont join lala.com because I refuse to get rid of any album I have ever purchased, it would drive me absolutely nuts. I sold 2 albums I hated about 3 years ago and it still bugs me, I want them back. This explanation is based on the notion that you have to give to recieve.

If you have no albums to get rid of then go into pawn shops, used records, anywhere that sells used albums, and find the cheapest shit there. $0.99 indie turds would ship quick at that site. Even if you pay $1 for a used CD to trade, that's still only $2.75 for a CD. Anyone can make the site work. You'll get CDs far cheaper than buying retail. You can even ask friends for CDs they don't want. People that are casual music fans always have CDs they don't care about anymore, once they stop playing the hit song on the radio and whatnot. Trade fodder, and it's free.

I mean, I just got Shadows Fall's Fallout From The War—brand new! The guy bought a bunch of them for $2.99 at Tower Records when it went out of business. So I got a brand new 2006 release from a very popular band for $1.75. You can't beat it.

And I don't have 10,000 CDs. I have somewhere around 5,000 or so. I haven't actually physically counted them in a long, long time.

So what do you do with them all? Do you keep a room in the house for just your music? I have a hard time finding places for 500 CDs, if I had 5,000 I'd be sleeping on top of them.

Right now most of them are still packed away after I moved in December of '05, mainly because I'm stuck living with my mother at the moment so she can buy my house soon. Normally, though, I have a room specifically for all my music stuff. Man Land, if you will.

Iced Earth - Horror Show
Rush - Feedback

So far, Rush are awesome and IE are not as good as SWTWC. Plus the production is AWFUL! I'll keep at it, as someone'll probably appear and tell me it's their best in a post or two's time...

I think that Horror Show is one of IE's best and much better than SWTWC.

Horror Show is an album that gets better and better upon repeated listens. The songs kick ass, but they aren't as immediately catchy as those on Somthing Wicked. And the production is great on that album. Are you nuts?

Running Wild - 20 Years in History

I've never got round to listening to Running Wild, and this best of was going for £3 in a clear out so I though "why the heck not?"

Dude you must get their albums right now!, the compilation album you bought is not bad (listen to Treasure Island on disc 2, that song rocks), but the problem with Running Wild, is that they have so many fucking great albums (the first 9 are masterpieces IMO) that alot of awesome songs are left out in the compilations.

Was I nuts for supporting you as a mod?

I just said that as a joke because Zad suggested it would happen. I like both albums about equally.

How dare you not think exactly the same way as he does about the album.
