Bob Catley - Middle Earth

That Middle Earth album is possibly the most unconvincing Tolkien-inspired piece of music I've ever heard. Haha. It's some great AOR written by Glenn Hughes, though; it just doesn't seem like the right kind of music to tell the tale of Lord of the Rings.

Glenn Hughes huh? Does he perform on it, or just write?

He wrote and performed everything according to the booklet, Catley just did the vocals.

Uh, that would be Gary Hughes, from Ten.

Yes I know he can't hear me now. Some of us prefer illusion to despair.

I just got Bob Catley's The Tower today and noticed that Hughes did all the music on this one, too. Then I noticed it said Gary Hughes. Whoops! Gary, not Glenn.

Arcade Fire - Funeral

Extremely enjoyable indie rock with tonnes of atmosphere!
certain song parts are reminiscent of The Pixies which is a good quality in my opinion.

Hank Williams III - Straight to Hell

This is really good. I very rarely listen to country music when I have a choice, but I'm gonna go seeking out other outlaw stuff like this.
