Dionysus - Fairytales and Reality

Jesus, this is probably the worst power metal of 2006 I've heard so far. Their previous albums were nothing outstanding, but they had some great song. After one spin nothing really stands out on this one.

I wouldn't go that far, but it's a good album. Take the worst song on Anima Mundi, clone it 10 times and you have Fairytales and Reality. 35/100 after two spins.

Yes, seriously, they realy took a nose dive with that album. It's generic with a capital G power metal.

And that Dark Moor album is nothing short of a masterpiece! It can stand tall with the best PM releases of 2000 imo and that's saying something because albums such as SA - Ecliptica, Helloween - The Dark Ride and Rhapsody - Dawn of Victory were released the same year.

NP: Rhapsody (I refuse to call them Rhapsody of Fire) - Triumph or Agony. Quite possibly the second worst PM album of 2006 that I've heard :sad: What a crushing disappointment this album was.

sexy album. I mean it, theres something erotic about it that totally gets destroyed by the vocals, because then it would be like gay-erotic and I don't swing that way.
