becoming more m3t4L with their new song. To bad the song makes 0 sense. I was just thinking, what the hell are they trying to do with this?

That sounded pretty awesome, can't wait to hear it with an actual drummer instead of a machine.

Well JFAC has nothing to do with DeP and this song is very mediocre.

I know that Daniele's the Tech-Death man and all that, but this sounded pretty good to me. I've heard the name a few times, but not checked them out before now.

I think I'm still more excited about Becoming the Archetype's new album as far as deathcore goes though.

Becoming the Archetype deathcore? I would label them more like progressive metalcore...All this genre tagging is driving me nuts!

There's no such thing as Deathcore. Give me a break. This is getting out of hand.

Well i think deathcore is a tag for a band that plays a very extreme form of hardcore that tends more to death metal than anything else.
A perfect exemple of "deathcore" imo is Despised Icon. Some people tag JFAC deathcore also.

Btw, i listened to their full Doom(ep) today and i must say that it isn't too bad.

True, but it's faster than saying death metal with some metalcore stuff or metalcore with some death metal stuff.

It's redundant considering most of the original Death Metal bands were influenced by the old Hardcore bands though. Especially in the vocal department.

A friend of mine says they don't have a drum machine.

I'd probably be that guy, so thank you for not calling them death metal.

I see, I just knew they were looking for a drummer and that sounded like a machine. I guess I hope the drums sound better on the album.
