Oh my god it was fucking good! Playing the whole new album didn't actually get boring and even though they didn't play their best song seeing Fear of The Darka nd Hallowed Be Thy Name live was one of the best things I've ever experienced. It sounds really gay but to actually see them, IRON MAIDEN playing in front of me was absolutely breathtaking and I almost can't describe how extatic I felt, but maybe being quite drunk had something to do with that haha.

During Trivium's set inbetween songs I got on my mate's shoulders in the middle of the pit and started shouting "FUCK OFF! FUCK OFF! MATT HEAFEY'S A FAGGOT!" And all that jive whilst he was staring right at me and I was flicking him the finger haha. The beer made me really aggressive and I was just pushing all the emo fucks over and when some fringe over one eye tit started on me I threw him into the crowd with an angry rage haha. Matt Heaffey says "This one's a thrash metal song, TO-THE-RATS!" And just in that moment of silence I shout "IS IT FUCK! MEGADEEEEETH!" And had the crowd laughing at that Heaffey twat.

Absolutely awesomez, even Eddie came out as a 15 foot tall soldier.

Iron Maiden always kills live! And they always have sucky warmup bands.

When I see idiots doing this at shows I usually knock them out. If Heafy got off that stage you'd never say that to his face.

There's no need to intentionally offend a band, even if they suck. Just go have a drink while you're waiting for the headliner.

FYI - Ken, there was no "meathead bop" at the BG show I went to until they were closing with Mirror Mirror

I saw IRON FUCKIN MAIDEN last night!

Basically what Pete said. They were awesome. The new 'tank' Eddie is fucking brilliant! There was a Maiden tribute band playing in the city centre in the afternoon, so we got to hear all the classics in one form or another.

We caught the last few Trivium songs, and yeah they sucked. Poor live act, very flat. Even the song I don't mind (We Are the Fire) sounded like shit. But I still sang along with all my heart to BOAT RUDDER.

and since i'm this really tall dude standing right up front, every band heard me and so did everyone in the crowd. But when a good band played, they heard it too.

"YAAAAAH! WE SOLD OUR SOULD FOR ROCK AND ROLL! FUCK YEAH!"

Agreed with Charles. It's alright to heckle a band, especially one as shite as Trivium. Even if you disagree, the thought must have made you smile, surely?

I'm so fucking Jealous of MH_B & Rad - lucky bastards the pair of you. I know I could have made more effort to go myself, but the tickets were sold-out when I got the cash together and I'd all ready had Slayer & Tool to go to at that point. I know it's a festival, but fingers crossed on a 'Maiden Headline slot at Download next year!
