Welcome to the metalreviews.com 2006 Reader's Choice Awards! In order to make this process more efficient, we ask that all voters please stick to the following rules:

1. Votes should be in the following format: Band Name -- Album Title. Notice the double dash in between. Votes will be edited to match this format if not done correctly.

2. Only vote for five albums in each category. Any votes above and beyond will not be tallied.

3. Votes will only be counted for full-length albums. Please do not vote for singles, EP's, or live albums.

4. Voting threads are for voting ONLY. If you wish to discuss voting, please do so only in the voting discussion threads (and play nice!!). Any discussion posts in voting threads will be moved or deleted.

5. Votes for albums not matching the category will be moved. If you're not sure which category an album should go in, feel free to ask.

I noticed someone put Axxis here. The review calls it Melodic Power Metal, which is what I thought it was. So, should it go here, or in the power/true/etc.. thread?

I think it should go in Heavy/Power/True as well. I'll PM the other person and see if they can move their vote.

I saw someone listed Axel Rudi Pell's Mystica in this section, but wouldnt it also fit in the "heavy/prog/power/true, etc" section as well? I dont see ARP as hard rock...its gotta be just plain heavy metal?
