The first five Megadeth and Metallica album—no diggity, no doubt.

There isn't an outright bad album among them, but So Far So Good So What and Metallica aren't even very good, never mind masterpieces.

Regarding Megadeth and Metallica, I think Metallica maybe has a THREE masterpiece sequence (ride-puppets-justice), and Megadeth FOUR (peace sells-so far-rust-countdown). To me, these seven deserve 90, 91 tops, except for Rust In Peace, of course, which deserves a 100.

Still, me thinks no one can beat Maiden with FIVE. :dio:

I'm sorry to say this, but i think you're GAY. Not that there's a problem with that, nothing personal...but not including Killers, 1st Maiden album, Kill'em All and Killing is My Business in your list of masterpieces is enough proof for me that you're gay.

But that's ok, being gay can be cool sometimes...

Maiden's first two albums were very good. But not as good as their albums from 82-88. KEA never did anything for me. I hate that album with a passion. And Killing Is My Business is good too. But I like Megadeth's later albums, RIP, CTE uptil Cryptic Writings more.

Im sure not everyone will agree but for originality and musicianship I would say Pain of Salvations first 4 albums, (Entropia, One Hour by The Concrete Lake, Remedy Lane, and The Perfect Element I), were all 90s and up rated albums. They ended the streak with Be, but "Be" was so different that I find it hard to be a disappointment.

Also, even though there are no reviews on this site or them, the two Riverside albums, (Out of Myself, Second Life Syndrome) are absolute must have albums. I would rate the first at around a 94 and the second at around a 96. Both amazing.

Sodom, death, maiden (7 in a row, not 5), kreator, blind guardian, savatage, metal church are all obvious choices.
Some more:

Queensyche from self titled ep to Empire. 5 in a row
Destruction, from Infernal overkill to Cracked brain (including Mad butcher EP, not including live album) 5 in a row.
Voivod, from War and Pain to Nothingface. 5 in a row.
Coroner, all discography. 5 in a row.

You can argue So Far So Good, but the black album is a masterpiece. Maybe not to the metal purist, but there isn't a bad song on that album. Not even close.

Gah!!!
