Anything after Criteria For A Black Widow is absolute rubbish. This band has lost all relavency as far as I'm concerned. Annihilator had their ride, but you can stick a fork in them now....

I've mentioned once before that I used to talk to Jeff about 9-10 years ago, and I have to say that the guy I knew would never have done anything like Schizo Deluxe. It's sad, really.

I'll be honest to admit that I know nothing about Annihilator but as far as I read here most people seem to agree that appart from their first albums the rest are pretty bad. However when I check the Annihilator's review list here at MR there's not an album having a score below 80 (= outstanding). Is this also another sign that something's wrong with the quote/scoring system? Uuurghh it gets confusing...

Maybe I'm biased, but I think most of their albums are good. The notable exceptions are Remains (to much late nineties electronica experimentation) and the latest two. There are a couple others that aren't great, but for the most part, it's a good catalog.

Uuuhh...so most people agreeing on some thing makes that particular thing absolutely true? No, I'm pretty sure that is not what you meant. Fittan, det kan inte vara så!
It just seems that the people that have reviewed the Annihilator albums for MR have liked them, against the common view of most commentators. Just opinions, that's all they are. I wouldn't call it an indicator that the quoting system is flawed.

Personally, I think most of Annihilators records kick mucho ass. With the exception of Remains, which admittedly reeks of hot manure.
