Has just been released in Europe (going by the website).

Anyone heard it yet?
Any good?

I've always heard of W.A.S.P, but never actually listened to any of their albums. Before i got into metal, i remember my older brother crankin' bands like Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and WASP in his room next to mine, but i never bothered to listen to them once i got into metal.

Until now

So far i've heard Dying For The World, which is very good.
The Neon God, Part 1....ehhh not bad.
Helldorado, which is great. And,
Still Not Black Enough, which is pretty good.

I want to hear this very badly. Trooper, if you want the best WASP, get The Headless Children and The Crimson Idol, two masterpieces of heavy metal.

first two are good. Electric Circus I didn't like, never heard any of their new shit but good to see Lawless is at least still alive. I always dug their albums, they were nasty for their time.

I am planning on getting through all of them in time and yes The Crimson Idol is next as i've seen that its one of the best ones.

For a band who is 22 years old, they seem to have done extremely well and had a successful but simple formula. Blackie Lawless still has a great voice.

Haven't listened to the new one yet, but make sure you check out their self titled debut, one of the top 10 albums in the history of metal imo!

I really want to hear their version of Burn. WASP have done a lot of kick-arse covers over the years.

I Wanna Be Somebody!
Be Somebody Cool!

You really can't go wrong with W.A.S.P. Some albums are better than others, but they've never put out an album that totally sucked.
You must get the S/T and The Last Command though.

Finally got to here The Headless Children and The Crmson Idol. I liked The Headless Children better than The Crimson Idol.

I'm not sure if i like W.A.S.P's concept albums as much as their regular ones. I couldnt really get into The Crimson Idol, and only liked 2 songs.
With The Headless Children, i liked 5-6 songs.

Also got to hear The Last Command, which fuckin' rocks. Loved all of it except for "Fist Full Of Diamonds".

I have Unholy Terror, but havent listened to it yet, thats next on the list.

Still got a few more to go (W.A.S.P, Electric Circus, The Neon God, Part 2 & Kill, Fuck, Die)

Dude, you are crazy! You like all the right bands but its always different songs to everyone else that likes 'em. Which is cool.

Headless Children does rock, though. :dio:

 Yeah, i am a bit like that. Nothing wrong with being different. For the record, these are the tracks off The Crimson Idol which i did like:

Chainsaw Charlie and The Idol

I think it's the song writing in the concept albums which i cant get into. They are more creative and slower and have a meaning, but i prefer the sex, booze and rockin' out WASP style, from albums such as The Last Command and Helldorado. There's nothing wrong with concept albums, if you're into that.

I think being an AC/DC fan, and hearing simalarities with them in WASP's music, makes it easier for me to feel at home with their mindless typical 80's metal songwriting, singing about sex and drugs, etc.

Chainsaw Charlie and The Idol are probably the best songs....in fact CC is probably one of the best songs ever.
