Well, since nobody's done anything yet for Halloween, I thought I'd do this poll.

My vote went to Phantom Opera Ghost. Though Jekyl and Hyde certainly comes close. I also really like Dragon's Child.

And let's not forget the awesome Iron Maiden cover on the second disk of the limited edition.

The European version is single disc, featuring Transylvania about 2/3 of the way through.

I'll vote Transylvania because it doesn't feature Matt Barlow's annoying vocals. :dio:

Damien of course. To be quite honest, that's the only song I truly love in this album. The others are good, but Damien is just awesome.

I really like this album. Aside from the two weaker songs (in my opinion anyway), Jack and Frankenstein, anyone of these songs could be my favorite. I went with the Phantom Opera Ghost because I really like the way the female vocalist and Matt Barlow (with his NOT ANNOYING vocals) pull off the duet. Close seconds for me would have to be Damien and Dracula.

This album just didn't do anything for me. It went to the Iced Earth section never to be heard again.

Read my signature for a clue... ;)

Of course it's DRACULA! One of my all time favorite songs and only a handful of other Iced Earth songs can compete with it even though IE is my favorite band, after Judas Priest.

Phantom of the Opera is pretty amazing as well. I wish the whole album was as good as those two, there are some great songs on it but overall it lacks a bit of creativity.

I chose "Dragon's Child," but it was a toss up between that and "Im-Ho-Tep (Pharoah's Curse)." I love the weird, sliding riff in the background of the verse on "Im-Ho-Tep (Pharoah's Curse)"

A most underrated album! I think due in part because the songs aren't all fast, but more mid-paced and subtle. It took a few spins for me to begin really diggin' on it.

Now I love it! :dio:

I have to go with Dracula on this one. Damien is real cool and I actually liked this album a lot. Havent listened to it much lately but i will throw this on at the gym today.

P.S. Barlow is never never annoying

Tie between Jekyl and Hyde and Ghost of Freedom, went for the later in the pole tho.

Dracula is the best song on Horror Show. That song kicks ass from beginning to end.

2nd and 3rd best would be Wolf and Damien

Wolf for me, that double bass drumming is a real kick to the groin. Overall I listened to this album over and over again when it came out, but I can't say I've given it a spin ever since. Nothing really fresh sounding on it to keep you interested long term imo. Much like their latest stuff.
