I love how angry it makes metalheads when a band with 100,000 myspace friends can make death metal just as well, if not better than any other bands from the last two or three years. Don't you? The bass drops they put into their songs are kinky. Maybe it's because its short, but I found their EP a lot more enjoyable than any other brutal death release I've heard this year.

The funny thing is, I used to actually think this band was decent.

Oh and half those "kinky bass drops" sound like something out of the Baphomet- The Dead Shall Inherit release from 1992.

It's a debut, so I don't think comparing them to a band that's been around for 10+ years is fair. and of those that I've heard I'd say its better than Virus, Nightmares Made Flesh, The Stench of Redemption, and about tied with Annihilation of the Wicked + Crimson II. It's hard for me to compare an EP to a full length though because I go by if it can entertain me from start to finish.

Because you don't like death metal, you like shitty hardcore. All of those albums were from the past 2-3 years...

It doesn't matter if it's a debut, who cares how long the band has been around, who cares which album it is, tons of bands have their best album as their debut.

Being from AZ, I've heard a lot of these guys. I have a couple friends that like them, but I don't really like them at all. I'm not really into brutal death metal, though.

Funny story, I was wearing a Sodom shirt to work a month ago and this kid who works therer is like "Sodom, never heard of them. Any good?" I proceeded to tell him the excellence of Sodom and then he asked "Are they brutal death metal?" I said no, and he said "You should check out Job for a Cowboy, crazy good shit, and by the sounds of things, much better than your Sodom shit". I just looked at him and laughed and said "You have no taste and Sodom kicks yours and Job for a Cowboy's ass."

Anyway my opinion on the band, THEY SUCK.

I thought this band was a joke when I first heard them.

I guess that maybe would be quite funny but it certainly doesn't apply to this shitty band.

Resounding meh. Although I have their poster on my door cuz the Aborted guy gave it me.

From the couple of songs that Ive heard I wasnt really impressed. In one of the songs the drummer fucked up, and that shouldnt make it into a recording.

Whatever they are, they aren't very good...

Aborted are 100 times better.

I'm listening to Aborted right now and they're pretty damn sweet.

And brilliant live; that was a fucking performance! The band had shedloads of energy and I was running round in a pit, did a stagedive and kept going to the front of the stage and 'banging haha. Class.
