Since I'm just now (after being a metal fan for almost seven years!) becoming a Maiden fan, I was wondering what the overall consensus is on Brave New World.

It's a good album. While it's not their best by any means, having Bruce and Adrian back was cool, and there are some pretty good songs.

While I don't really have an opinion or care for, the first three songs are so kickass that it's a hit.

The best Maiden album after Seventh Son. Just great songwriting all around; the one song I could do without would be Blood Brothers, and they could have shortened The Nomad a bit, but quite an amazing album overall.

Definite hit for me. I agree with Blood Brothers not being all that great. The Wickerman is a great song though.

Big hit, my favorite Maiden album. Keeping in mind, Ive only heard random classic songs and Piece of Mind once. I've heard all from 2000-present, BNW is my fav from what Ive heard so far.

While I really liked the album at first, I almost never listen to it anymore. I think it might suffer a bit from songs being too much alike, or the general sound of the album might not be varied enough.

Anyway, I liked this album so much when it was new I'm gonna have to say "hit".

Great album with the only weak link being the title track.

Hit, of course. The best after 7th son. (Well, almost tied with A Matter Of Life And Death)

The real miss of Maiden are for me Dance of death, No prayer, virtual X and Fear of The dark, in this order (from great great miss to miss).

I used to like it a lot but i find it pretty dull now. It's very different from Virtual XI and X-Factor, it sounds very cool and fresh, but I dont agree with it being the return-to-form for maiden as it's regarded by everyone as. I appreciated the Blaze-era.

Dance of Death and A Matter... was a lot better. Now thats a return to form.

Hit, hit, a thousand times hit!

My first Maiden album and a great record all round. Very melodic, emotional and melancholy. I actually find Blood Brothers to be a very moving song. Bruce's performance on The Thin Line Between Love and Hate is one of his best, no doubt.

The "Miss" radio button should be disabled for this poll.

Great album. It still gets heavy rotation to this day, and The Nomad has such an awesome struture. The only complaint is Steve is way too high in the mix, even moreso than usual. They also didn't take full advantage of the 3 guitar sound until DoD, but it's still fantastic.
