All right, I'm making a rare trip to the CD store (long story...) this coming weekend and I can't decide what to get...I've managed to narrow it down to these.

Strapping Young Lad--Alien
Nevermore--Dead Heart in a Dead World
Death--The Sound of Perseverence
In Flames--The Jester Race
Edguy--Vain Glory Opera
Megadeth--Rust in Peace
Amon Amarth--With Oden on Our Side
Pagan's Mind--Celestial Entrance

I've only got enough money for 2 CD's , maybe three if I get really lucky on sales. Which ones should I get?

Amon Amarth and Edguy. But definitely make AA one choice.

Def get the Amon Amarth, it rules and is 11.99 at Zia's dude so grab it.

Look for the Jester Race used.

I will save my rant on Nevermore for sometime I want to make Ken foam at the mouth and flame war for 60 pages.

No matter what you do, get the Nevermore CD. It's my favorite Nevermore CD and one of my favorite CDs ever.

The Pagan's Mind CD is excellent too.

Nevermore
Pagan's Mind

Get them.

Those.

I can almost guarantee you won't be dissapointed.

I would get anything there actually except Edguy.
Edguy should be avoided.

Or not. They're a fun band, but not neccesarily the best on there. I would get Nevermore and PM before I get that.

I can't believe theres a metal fan out there without Rust in Peace! Sort that one out!! I'd say The Jester Race for the other one, it is a Classic after all.

Looks like Nevermore is pretty much a shoo-in...I also forgot to add Damage Done by Dark Tranquillity. I can't decide on the second CD...Amon Amarth, Death, In Flames, Pagan's Mind, and Megadeth are all looking good. I'll get them all eventually, hopefully...

Nevermore and Dark Tranquillity. You need Damage Done regardless. Make sure you get that one.

I dont own Rust In Peace, nor have I heard it, or any other Megadeth release for that matter. I hear alot of random songs played at my friends house. Seems good, but my 'music to get' list is just so massive I just havent reached them yet.
