I guess that, for all its death metal strength, the year 2006 would not have felt complete without these polish monsters. For whoever doesn't know them, Azarath is a band where the guitars, bass and vocals duties are (or were) handled by musicians from Damnation, Yattering, Thunderbolt or Cenotaph, while the drums are mercilessly punished by no other than Inferno of Behemoth fame. And if you thought Inferno is a mad demon in Behemoth, wait till you get a load of him in Azarath.
With devastating druming, uber fast heavy riffage, mesmerizing solos and an infernal voice, Azarath's new album, Diabolic Impious Evil, unleashes a hot melting chaos of brutality, power and technical prowess, compressed in 10 very diverse and dinamic compositions. Lyrically, this album is more blasphemic than the latest Deicide, Gorgoroth and Belphegor put together. If you're into extreme metal, don't miss this one.
