Following the enormous success of their debut album, 2004s "A Celebration Of Guilt", and 2005s epic "A Diamond For Disease", ARSIS have returned with their brand new full length, "United In Regret" (formerly titled "Lust Before The Maggots Conquest"). With "United In Regret", ARSIS have once again raised the bar and breathe new life into the overpopulated and poser-infested world known as Melodic Death Metal. Recorded at Max Tax Studios (Skinless, Stigmata) in Albany, NY and Hairy Breakfast Productions (Misery Index) in Atlanta, GA, "United In Regret" will feature the best production job on an ARSIS record yet. The nine tracks contained on "United In Regret" showcase ARSIS strongest and most well-written material to date. "United In Regret" will be released October 24, 2006. The album is being produced by Eyal Levi (Daath) and artwork will be handled once again by Mark Riddick (www.riddickbros.com).

This album is probably going to top suffocation, anata, spawn of possession and the new deicide.

Hopefully..
Well if it's better than Celebration of Guilt, definetely.

Coooooooooooooooool. I predict this kicking ass.

Am I the only one who thinks that James Malone's screaming sounds kinda like Devin Townsend's?

I'd say more like Angela Glassgow.

I don't remember what her screaming sounds like. I just thought of Devin since you can understand what they're saying fairly well and they both hit notes/carry melodies while screaming.

I don't particularly like religion, but hearing Arsis is surely a religious experience of some kind.

I haven't heard any Angela-era Arch Enemy... except maybe once or twice in passing.

Anyways the 2nd song is a bit worse than Maggots, although if the rest of the album is somewhere in between the two for quality I'll definitely be happy.

this new album is really going to be great. A Celebration of Guilt is probably one of my favorite death metal albums.

and i had a chance of seeing them live, but i didnt know anything about them at the time and passed it up

i just heard the leak for the first time and I'd say its up there with The Sound of Perseverance and Heartwork for kinkyest death metal albums ever. It's better than A Celebration of Guilt in basically every way and I considered the best melodeath album in the last 5 years. Not to mention more than fixing that albums only 3 flaws (lack of song variety, lack of variety in speed, lack of variety in solos).
