I have an interview with Johan Hegg, Amon Amarth's vocalist, this Wednesday. Suggest your questions here!

Frigid, ask a serious question or don't ask one at all. Unlike you, some of us here are real music fans. Kayla is going to interview this band, and is giving real fans an opportunity to ask the band a question. Now cut the crap.

Anyone else wishing to act like a moron (asking how big someone's cock is, or anything like that) in this thread will find themselves suspended from this site for a month.

I don't know a whole lot about Amon Amarth other than I think their music is great. So this question may seem somewhat stupid but anyways.

Who writes the lyrics for the band, or is it a group effort?

Other question directed for Johan specifically,

Do you use any sort of special vocal effects, for example, when you do those really low growls in the beginning of Runes To My Memory (Deep in the land of the rus, part, specifically) is there any sort of different effects on your vocals in that part?

I don't ahve any questions in particular, but I find ones on the writing process, like what does he try to accomplish with his vocal lines in terms of the music, more interesting than "how is the tour going lolz?" type questions.

May be a dumb question, but:

Fate of Norns is a somewhat different (though equally excellent) album from the rest of your catalogue; what was different in songwriting and motivation to make it so?

Will there be a live album or a dvd anywhere in the near future?

Judging by the songs it sounds like you don't growl with your diaphram-does this ever give you any voice troubles/pain or am I wrong?

I've heard some rumours about you guys being racist and extreme nationalists. Is this true?

I hope this question isn't offensive. It could be true you know.

You think? Well, I wouldn't wanna get on the bad side of that guy who would be a a Viking warrior if he lived in the past, but ok, if you think it's a good question.

I'm rephrasing this one, but it's a good question. :P
