<----That album. Still the best production I have ever heard in my life.

Others that spring to mind:

Loudness - Thunder in the East (razor-sharp and extremely clear in a Ratt or Dokken way, yet heavy as hell in a Defenders of the Faith way - probably the best there was in 1985)
Primal Fear - Nuclear Fire (Painkiller amplified through a buzzsaw - really no other PF album sounds quite like this one)
Running Wild - Black Hand Inn (very pounding and catchy)
Fear Factory - Demanufacture (like a deathier and more "full"-sounding version of Pantera; many have tried to copy it and many have failed)
Saxon - Unleash the Beast (just an awesome straightforward heavy metal production that doesn't sound overly clean and modern)
Warrant - Cherry Pie (heavy, clear, well-balanced and sparkling with energy - this is how 80's rock is supposed to sound in my book, not complete fluff such as Hysteria (sorry Ken  ))

A bit too synthetic in parts. Especially the drumming. But the general effect is great! :)

Yeah I can agree with that. Not perfect, but really great for what it is.

It emphasizes the epic character of RW's music perfectly :)
