When I read the title at first, for a moment I thought he created a new genre of metal.

Some Polish guy once refered to the music he liked as 'Screaming fuck metal' so I imagined this would be along the same lines...

That site and reviewer are so lame and gay I can hardly believe my own eyes. I'm pretty sure the guy hardly has any metal experience, probably the only contact he had with metal in the past was through some of his friend's tapes. Then probably he started downloading everything he could find from the internet just because he though that metal is cool.

First I thought I would copy paste some of his incredulous sayings here but they became so many after a point that I would need a couple of pages for that. Plus I couldn't keep reading after the letter I or K, it was just too much bullshit for me.

Apparently the guy has nothing to do with metal. I'm just wondering why doesn't he return to some rap-shit or core-fuck-whatever he likes to listen....
...
...
...but then again, s(h)ites like those make me remember what we have here (metalreviews) and make me feel safe and protected from the stupidity and the cultural/musical dangers of the "free" internet world.

I agree with Antonakis on the point that after reading these horrible horrible reviews, I'm really glad we have metalreviews.

Well, you have to give the guy some credit: at least his reviews are brutally honest.

I dunno, he seems to know what he likes but constantly listens to bands that its obvious he wont like and state his opinions about them.

A similar idea, more intelligent and less aobut metal though:

You have to admit, if you're a metal fan, it DOES take a lot of guts to admit an opinion like that. Iron Maiden and Judas Priest are probably the two most sacred bands in all of metal (even more so than 80s Metallica and Slayer). To honestly declare them "overrated" at the expense of hate mail, flame wars, etc. is actually quite ballsy.

Besides, despite being a Maiden fan myself, I can see where some people might be a little put off by them. For example, their sound is surprisingly happy-go-lucky for a metal band, which may discourage metal fans (like him) who are more into darker, more evil sounding metal. Ditto to Judas Priest (who I also like, mind you).

Yeah, I found that he basically just stated his opinions on albums... it only sounds a little offensive/retarded because his opinions are different from most metal fans and he doesn't make an attempt at professionalism. I'd say Maiden were overrated too if I judged them on how enjoyable they are too :P

Well then he's got his whole definition of metal totally wrong. It's not ALL about darkness or evil IMO. More towards reality.

I don't see what the big deal is. Yes, the reviews are very badly written. His opinions are unconventional. Who gives a shit?

Well we're secretly planning to assasinate him. Seinfeld's the leader and Frigid's the masterminder. You want in?
