I have to start with one of my favorite bands, unfortunately:



While it does introduce us to the hooded "guardian", the rest of the cover just kills me - the Manowar look-a-like chess pieces doing cartwheels, Emperor Zurg in the background with his eye beams...

Hello-fucking-ween! Pretty much all of their EP's and singles have covers that are so ridiculous I don't really know whether to laugh or cry.

the worst one ever is all the Manowar dudes in Loincloths on Into Glory ride....ugh

How could you like that cover? It's totally retarded!

I don't know, i just like it.....That Hyberion band has some lame ass covers with the motorcycles and shit, I didn't buy the album just because of it even though I heard they kick ass. That Savage Circus album cover is beyond gay too.

The new Angra cover isn't that much better than Angels Cry. This sucks big time.

That isn't bad. It looks very Greek, and ancient Greek art is awesome.

I'm with leee, the Angels Cry cover is ok. A bit gay, but likeable. Sums Angra up perfectly.

I just think it's rather retarded. An angel statue in a wheat field? Come on!

Although I'm not sure if the angel statue in a wheat field is as bad as the ancient Greek porn about to be bestowed on us

Now that I think about it, with the exception of Rebirth, Angra covers have just not been all that great.

It doesn't help that I've seen interviews where the band admits they don't like it much. Silence ust looks too much like a hack-job to me, kind of like BG's A Night at the Opera (despite my BG fanboy status) - good concept with bad results achieved at the last minute.

That has to be THE worst so far I've seen. They even had an actual picture of them in those loincloth. If you had watched Headbanger: A Metalheads Journey, you would have seen and dropped stone dead.

I too disagree with the new Angra cover being ugly. I think it's pretty cool and original, and it's sort of in the same vain as Temple of Shadows.

True...I didn't like Temple of Shadows' until I realized how well it fit the album, so it could be the same with the new one.

I agree that the Manowar one is the absolut worse-

But Luca Turilli - the profet of the last eclipse - is also a bit gay, the booklet inside with their pics is really ridiculous - they almost have braveheart paint on their face, only gayer
