NESS and Adam are my buds now. :) I wish you could look at peoples' wishlists.

Yo NESS, you willing to get rid of all that shit? :omfg:

HaHa! Ken, you're never gonna get of that Lee Greenwood shit!

I know. Haha. I bought that bitch for $2 thinking to sell it on eBay. No one ever bought that fucker!

Most of that shit is just random things I somehow picked up over time. A few are actual CDs from my shelves, though, like that Fog CD.

NESS, what the hell? You're willing to give up your entire Blind Guardian collection? Are you sure you understand what it means when you list an album as "have it"?

Well, you're not obligated to trade with people, but yeah, I see no point in having it listed if you're not willing to trade it.

I just got a notice saying Destroy What You Enjoy by Powerman 5000 is on its way to me. Now, I'm seeing where this could cause problem. Haha. I can handle $1.75 per CD, of course, but this shit can add up quick!

So wait...basically you can work the system and just buy CD's for $1.75 without selling any of your CD's back?

No. You have to be willing to send (for free) CDs of your own to other people that request them.

Also, I asked someone who is sending me a CD, he's done over 400 trades and he says he's got a lot without the back insert. I don't like that at all.

Back insert? What's that?

Also, do you get CD's that you send back or are they for the other people to keep?

That would really piss me off.

That wouldn't really bother me because its going in mass CD case, where I only use the front cover anyway, but I can see how that would be upsetting for some people. The guy who's getting one of my CD's asked if I could send the back cover. I told him I'd check if I still had it, but most of the time, I just throw those away. Let's not forget, though, the music's the important thing. As long as the CD plays, I'm not gonna complain.

The guy I asked said that most of them he gets has the back insert. It would annoy me, too, because I don't use the Case Logic thingies. But at $1.75 I can't really complain. My copy of Recreation Day by Evergrey has no back insert and I paid $2 for it. I hate it, but it's not so big of a deal, I guess.

I've got Beneath, Between, Beyond and Start A War by Static-X coming to me now. This shit can really get stupid if I don't watch it. Haha. I think this site will be a great place to get a lot of the more mainstream CDs because the majority of the people that buy albums by those more mainstream bands are generally not huge music fans and can part with those CDs. I think finding a lot of metal is going to be somewhat harder.

I searched for some really hard to come by neo-classical stuff, and it was all there.

Sure, it's there, but do people have it?

One thing you should know, for those who've signed up for this, you will only get the CD if an album you request is housed in a digipak. The envelope is just big enough to fit the CD and the thin plastic case Lala provides, and the booklet and back insert. A digipak won't fit in the envelope.

A girl is sending me the latest Beastie Boys album, which is a digipak. I didn't know. When I asked if she was sending the back insert she told me. She's totally cool, though, and is going to send me the CD in regular mail. :)

Just be warned. This site will be a great site if we fully understand it, you know? :dio:

Yeah, I'm an idiot...but what the hell is a back insert? I'm sure I know what you're talking about but just don't know what the term is.

It's the tray card, the artwork that sits underneath the CD cradle.

I'm awaiting three, and two out of three of them said they mailed the back insert. The other guy said he wasn't sure if he did or not.

How did you tell them you wanted the back insert before they mailed it? I got an email saying it was being shipped before I even knew who was shipping it.

Nice double post Douche McBaggens!

As to your question, if you click on the traded tab, there is a little word bubble next to all of your items you're due to receive. Click on the word bubble to send a message to the sender.

I just got my first 2 in the mail today. This service kicks the ass right off of ebay.
