I didn't think he was a good vocalist at all. He had his moments, like when he covered Radiohead, but his weekly standard was equivalent to that horrendous Bon Jovi cover he did. Most of the other singers on that show were better than him.
Regardless, I could get on board if the band wrote good music. Out of the 2 or 3 songs I've heard so far, this "band" is just not very good.
