Yeah, Im on Prophecy right now, its something to get me to like live albums, but for me to enjoy this so much and just sit here listening to almost 2 hours straight now, soon to be 3 hours, is quite something.

Im abit torn now though, should I buy this with so much more I want as well AND the DVD, or just the DVD..? Im leaning towards just the DVD. Maybe if I saw the album for like 5 or so bucks I'd buy it as well.

I don't know. The 3CD version is the best buy, I'd say, but the DVD is going to rule. However, knowing labels it likely won't be a 3DVD version. If Century Media is a true modern day label they'll release a standard version first, maybe a 2DVD version, the a special version at some point with all the tracks.

But, you can't bring a DVD to work or in the car. So, basically, I don't know.

I'm hearing that the third night of the Greece show wasn't filmed, so a 3DVD version is highly unlikely.

Thanks for ruining our dream, asshole.

The reason the 3rd night wasn't filmed was because it was probably empty and that would be rather boring. I was only 2 shows on 2 nights guys. So the dream is still on!!! I doubt it with be 3 dvd's tho, you can fit a lot more on a dvd then a cd.

All of the songs on the CD weren't filmed though. It will probably have the same tracklisting as the standard 2-CD version which is in higher circulation than the the 3CD set.

I won't be happy in that case

+1.

For the Dvd the 2Cd version seems more than enough for me.

I have the 3CD version ... which songs were left out in the 2cd version? Please don't say Stormrider or Desert Rain ...

The 2 CD version doesn't have the third disc from the 3 CD version. So unfortunately Desert Rain wouldn't be on it.

Huh? If you have the 3CD version you can just look at the third CDs tracklisting. Or did you mean that you have the 2CD version? If so, here is the tracklisting for the third disc:

1. Stand Alone
2. Cast In Stone
3. Desert Rain
4. Brainwashed
5. Disciples Of The Lie
6. When The Night Falls
7. Diary
8. Blessed Are You
9. Violate

Some good tunes are on that disc.

EDIT: Pffft! You guys suck!

I didn't know that "2CD version" = "3CD version" - 3rd CD. It could be a whole new song arrangement for just 2 CDs.

Oh man, the DVD whitout Desert Rain ...

some good tunes??? They're all good! but desert rain live < destert rain studio, the chorus is wrong, sounds really bad. But when the night falls, cast in stone, diary (a million times better live), brainwashed!! aghhh! i'm gutted that these songs wont be on the dvd!

I'm just happy to get anything from those shows on DVD :D

And while I'm watching it, I'll go to my computer and take a look on the web at the site for Matt's current band and cry

J/K - I still respect Matt's decision  [/code]

I knew it. Low-budget footage. No 5.1 sound, only 3 crappy cameras. Money grab.

At least the price will be low ...

The Halford DVD seems to have great image and sound quality, based on the "Silent Screams" sample I saw. So I guess that one will be THE dvd to wait.

They could at least dub the CD tracks over the live footage. Crappy live footage + killer audio seems OK to me.

Whe'll just have to wait and see.

If the price is fair, that is.

Anyway, you're right, audio is much more important than video in any media service, so vhs-like footage + remastered 5.1 audio ... I can live with that. But only because it's Iced Earth.
