So I just got back from the DragonHORSEremains concert and I'm sitting here with an ice pack on my neck writing this. Headbanging hurts. In case you haven't heard these fellows live, I figured I'd write a bit about them in case the tour comes near you later in the year.

HORSE the Band: Awesome live. I don't think I've seen a band look like they're having as much fun as HORSE did. They were pretty damn funny too. They announced themselves "We're HORSE the band and we're from the FUTURE!" and then later while introducing a song they said "This song is about the drummer's mom's vagina and it's called Black Hole". Also they had their Tshirt selling guy jump up and play the triangle for a couple songs. Easily the best heavy metal triangalist I've seen. I got his autograph after.

All That Remains: They looked painfully bored. The singer did pretty well inciting the audience, and the long haired guitarist was kindof getting into it, but the other guitarist and the chick bassist looked incredibly bored the whole time, like they didn't really want to be there. They did sound ok though, especially the drummer, who's insanely fast on the double kick.

Dragonforce: Ah Dragonforce. They lived up to all the hype about being one of the most entertaining bands out there. They did a whole lot of audience interaction and jumped around a massive amount. Also Vadim did an amazing keyboard solo/techno song that was actually really impressive.

So after the concert Dragonforce came out to sign stuff for the fans. They were actually pretty nice. On my Sonic Firestorm booklet the new bassist Fred Leclerq graffitid all over the old bassist's face and drunk Sam Totman drew a penis into the drummer's hand. Oh and since 4/5th of my band was there, we handed our newly finished demo directly to the band. We tried giving it to Herman Li but Sam grabbed it and said he was the official demo reviewer. He was pretty sloshed so I bet he's lost it by now though.

Anywho that was my day. Good fun

PS: I also bought the new five song CD thing by HORSE thats all about pizza and I'm listening to it now. It's ok
