Did anyone like the new Hammerfall album?

I know a lot of people here don't care about them anymore, but .... bite me, I liked Threshold, a lot. I wasn't expecting much, since Chapter V was only average and "The Fire Burns Forever" was just "ok". But I really liked "Threshold", "Natural High", "Howlin' with the 'pac". Nothing genious, I know, but still damn fun metal.

89/100. Their best since Legacy Of Kings.

You can download it with the voiceovers and then buy it without. Cool, huh?

This message below comes attached to alot of shared torrents that I have downloaded.

I do releases to spread good music.
I don't want to hurt the music industry.
If you like the album, buy it
If you don't like the album, delete it.
If you don't buy an album you like, you kill the music you like.

Listening to it now. Seems like more of the same to me. It's not like Hammerfall is going to revolutionise themselves. However, still good stuff!

I'll probably buy it, but I can't make head or tails of the music with the voiceovers. And they're like every 10 seconds. I just can't appreciate it enough to buy with the voiceovers. If I'd only heard the BG with the voiceovers, I wouldnt have bought it. But since i heard it without, and it rocked so much, I bought it.

C'mon , it's not that bad. At least the version I have, the voiceovers appear every minute or so. To be honest, that's all I need to know I'm gonna buy this.

That's lame and you know it. There are like three voiceovers per song. The people who whine about voiceovers are those that have no intention of buying the album. To say that you can't get a good feel for the songs because of the voiceovers is a joke.

I know you are young man but seriously you should be banned from being allowed to listen to Heavy Metal. That is seriously the dumbest excuse I ever heard. Kids, save your allowance, buy a few records, love them or seriously just stop listining to the music I love if you are just going to download. It is pathetic.

Rant over. Not meant to offend anyone and especially you kids with no money but damn.....this site is the absolute worst I vist for stealing music, does anyone here besides Ken and I buy CD's?

Yes. I have over 1800 and plan on supporting all my fav bands.
I have to admit ; since purchasing a home i have been downloading to "try" before i "buy" seeing as money is no longer falling off the tree.
I plan on making a fairly large purchase from cdinzane, CM, and cduniverse pretty soon tho because i have been lax as of late.
Especially since the new Blind Guardian, and Iron Maiden albums have been offcially released :)

Epic is like a cowboy that comes to town occasionally, kicks a little ass, and then disappears for a while; only to return some day and kick some more ass! Hahaha.

Anyway, I download, too. People could argue the intricacies of downloading all day—even if you buy, you seed torrents and aid in the theft, etc.—but I will always maintain that knowing the product prior to buying it is not a bad thing. Do you test drive a car before buying it? Of course!

So downloading is not the issue. Complaining about voiceovers is simply the complaint of someone that has no intention of buying the album. You can't spin that shit.

I totally disagree, I tried listneing to the new Nevermore album with the voiceovers and since that as soon as I hear a voiceover on a leak I turn it off because they're just too distracting.

I guess they're doing what they're meant to do though lol.

What are you listening to it for? I download to see if I like the album, if you're going to say the voiceovers keep someone from hearing whether or not they'd like the album then you're retarded. People who hate voiceovers hate the fact that they can't fully enjoy the album without buying it or waiting for some other turd to upload the retail version.

Ken is right, you all are just pissy because it isn't something you can play all the time and you are forced to buy it or wait till some other asshole does and puts it up on a site.

you can be like me and be stubborn and close minded and only buy shit you know you will like and never try anything new. That works well. I am too lazy to download plus unlike people with excuses here, I damn well know if I downloaded it and it was a good copy I would never buy it. So I just steer clear of doing it.

A sample promo is what it is...A sample of the new album...
The days of going off to the record store and busting the guys chops over the counter with countless requests of ...." can you put this one on, whats this one like, is this any good " All of that can be done on line with the sample promo,s. Sample on line then buy it online.

Take the new maiden album I downloaded the album with no voice overs , I also purchased the 2 pack bad boy with the bonus DVD and brought another maiden live dvd while i was there.
