the "aggressive deathy thrash" is indeed death fucking metal, and Necrovore played just that.

Necrovore did not influence Morbid Angel, both knew each other though. Remember that Morbid Angel has released demos, including an entire demo album before their debut LP in 1989. What you heard is just a common myth....

hehe as expected..

You can acquire the properly recorded demo in CDr if you contact De Plachett

Shit, I got my post wrong because I had to type it quickly before leaving. I meant that it is deathy aggressive thrash, but moreso than any other band before it.

yeah.. i have had Kältetod - Leere for quite a while... it's a decent record. It got 9 on Myrrthronth.. however, in my book it's more like 7,5... cuz parts of the album is a bit boring with nothing happening, but it does have some good moments. So if you're patient, you'll probably like it.

Altars of Madness
The Red in the Sky is Ours - for £2! But for some reason the record shop only had the CD, no cover or inlay. But £2!

Arallu-Satanic War in Jerualem (I cannot hail this album enough. This album literally drips hate, and the riffs just pummel you mercilessly.)
The Meads of Asphodel/Mayhem-Jihad/Freeziing Moon Split (The Mayhem part has been released before, but the MOA part is amazing. Middle-Eastern influenced BM works extremely well.)
Arcturs-Aspiera Hyms Symfonia/Constellation/My Angel
(I love the new sound for AHS, everything is clear without being over-produced.)

Pre-ordered: Archgoat - The Whore of Bethlehem. No doubt about it, one of the records that i'm most looking forward to this year.
