I would like to review a classic at some point. I figured I'd scour the "classics requests" thread, and, amongst the litany of complaints that the team ignores the requests, I found the following albums named numerous times. So here's your chance to make the bellyaching pay off! All of these will be subject to discussion as to their classic status, but, if the winner is deemed not to be a classic, I will at least review it as an archive. Also, I want to give this poll ample time (2 weeks?) so that everyone can get a say in the matter.

FYI - I have only included those albums which I have heard and could give a proper review for.

Also, I couldn't fit this in the poll, Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance is another choice. Please post if you wish to vote for it so I can tally the votes.

I voted for Dissection. Not my favorite of all those albums, but it is damn good and I think it would be a fitting review after the events of the past past year (end of band, suicide...).

too many maiden reviews on this site already, and i think TNOTB is just a taken-for-granted classic.

I was torn between Kreator, Maiden, and In Flames, so I just did a random up and down with my mouse and The Jesters Race was the closest. So that be my voooooote!

My vote goes to Storm of the Lights Bane, but that was a haaaaaarrrrddddd choice man. All of those albums can be considered classics, except Number of the Beast. I like that album, but I don't consider it a Classic, if you will. I just think with the recent passing of Jon, it would make a nice tribute(Disclaimer-I don't care what anybody thinks about the guy, so save it Zad) to the man who, while fucked in the head, made some killer and highly influential music. It also mops the floor with just about every other Melodeath album out there.

I said the Jester Race, since I'm thinking of buying it and want to see it reviewed. Plus, the only other band that I really care for on that list is Maiden and there's already a ton of stuff by them that's been reviewed.
