Are they nay good? I'm considering buying the new album, but I wanted to hear some opinions here first...

They're pretty crap. Wishy-washy gothic 'metal' with nary a genuine riff in sight.

Their second album even has a guest rapper on one track in hopes of hooking onto the Evanesence bandwagon.

And their new album has this song:

WHO YOU ARE

Now, I'm no country fan, but I've been known to watch a Faith Hill video or two; doesn't this song sound like a Faith Hill song? It sounds like some other pop song, this I know. No shocker there when you find out the song was written by two Swedish turds that have written songs for Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Westlife. Yeah, Lunatica want to sell out.

With that said, if you're looking for something like an Evanescence clone, something fun, then you may dig it. They have some really good songs, but you can't take this band serious.

I've always placed them in the same category as Nightwish and Visions Of Atlantis, melodic metal rather than gothic. Anyway their last album is an abomination, it's not even metal and definitely the worst album i've heard this year. Frigid, if you are going to dl them, dl only Fable & Dreams. This is their best album and one that I like very much. It have a version of Hymn (like the one Edguy did on VGO) and it's great. I think you're going to like F&D but stay clear from the other two.

This band description and recommendation of 'Fables & Dreams' (a solid melodic/symphonic metal CD... their 2nd) is dead-on.

Fables and Dreams is quite good, except for The Spell which is horrendous. Avalon and The Neverending Story are great songs. I have heard some songs from their new album and I have to agree with Pyro there. 0 percent metal, total sellout crap. Get F & D and steer clear from the rest.

I've heard a few songs of their new album and I think they're ok. There's a lot of Evanescence in their sound.
