Every song but "Different World" and "The Pilgrim" starts out slow and mellow. WTF?

Released tomorrow in Aus, I hope the shop I pre-ordered at gets them in on time.

Anyone have any idea why Australia is getting it before Europe? Usually we don't get the releases until weeks/months after its out in other countries.

The formula seems to be the first few minutes of each song (but two) is mellow, slow, introspective. Then generally mid-paced from there.

Take my opinion lightly, though. I've never been a big Maiden fan.

This album kicks ass IMO. It's like a mix of modern Maiden, the old 90's mid-tempo stuff, and Piece of Mind/Powerslave era. Very inspired songwriting, great melodies, great production.

Personally, I haven't liked anything Maiden has done since Seventh Son. I like this album ALOT. Take that as you will.

There's a time and a place, son, I'm assuming it's not in a Maiden thread on a metal board.

I just listened through the album once and my first opinion is that it's not as good as Dance Of Death. However, For The Greater Good Of God is one amazingly epic song!

I never met a Dickinson fronted Maiden album I didn't like. I'll be buying this regardless.
