Well, Korns debut creted an abortion of genre i think we'd all rather forget, which nullifies any classic status for me.

A statement based purely in ignorance and opinion so it only nullifies its own validity.

A challenge: Convince me otherwise with an utterly fantastic review.

Follow the Leader is a really good album, but the debut is very dull.

Maybe it would be worth reviewing Korn as a classic just for the inevitable Smackdown that would follow.

I think that is why it will never be reviewed. It would be a shitstorm like no other. I think Issues is their best, but the debut is damn good if you ask me.

Never heard anything outside of those two.

I had Follow the Leader, but then I swapped it for Use Your Illusion I. Then I wished I had it back, but the guy wouldn't agree to swap back. So I bought the debut to replace it, but every time I hear it I just think "This sucks, I wish I was listening to Freak on a Leash".

Quite a tale of woe.

Use Your Illusion 1 pwns most other records... Alice Cooper's appearance on "The Garden" just totally kicks ass.

Eh, they should have cut the massive amounts of filler from both albums and just made one killer album out of it. I only like about half of eithier one, so I didn't see the point.

Follow The Leader's pretty cool, but the rap songs start to get on my nerves after awhile, especially All In The Family. Issues is an overall more solid album if you ask me.

Outside of the self-titled and Issues, all their albums kind of bleed together with all the rap-rock wiggerisms. Maybe that's inaccurate, I don't own the last two. But Issues was where Korn stepped outside of the box and changed the format, it's just a solid album from beginning to end, but different from the rest. A standalone album in their discography.

Life Is Peachy is just complete shit.

Please don't do that. Korn just doesn't belong here. Yeah follow the leader is a half decent album which is ruined by a bunch of stupidity and dumb ass half rap shit.

I did like the shit Jonathen Davis did for the Queen of the Damned soundtrack proving if he wasn't a retard with Korn he could make good music......

Do something fucking cool like Tiamt - Summerian Cry that no many people have heard of or maybe even some old Rotting Christ, Sameals - Blood Ritual, The Gathering - Mandylion or Nighttime birds. Not some gay album just to piss people off....

Well, the site is metalreviews.com, right? Nu-metal doesn't belong? Sure, people hate it, but it surely belongs. This isn't traditionalmetalreviews.com, you know? :)

As for my next classic album, it'll likely be Anacrusis or Forte.

Korn isn't metal, I don't care if you put a "nu" in front of it or not........Neither is Distrubed or any of that other shit. It just isn't Metal.....fact.

The albums I listed aren't traditional metal but they are all ground breaking albums. Korn's follow the leader sure as fuck isn't.
