Well, there are certainly a plethora of old doom albums in need of review. I am curious as to what you guys think is the most urgent. I will check the votes one week from today, and will try to review the winner shortly thereafter. Feel free to write in those that I failed to list.

I haven't heard that Rev. album but all the others are amazing classics. Hard to choose. I think I'll go with Dopethrone, the heaviest album ever.

Exactly. I didn't listen to much doom till reading Dee's reviews/endless talk about it. Now I've gotten into it a lot more. I vote for Candlemass.

Hmm.. What to choose? I can't make a pick. I would like to add Reverend Bizarre - Harbinger of Metal though...


I'll take Dopethrone or Dopesmoker.. As long as there's dope in it, it's okay... Athough I wouldn't complain if you settled on Sleep's Holy Mountain either.

Dee's already reviewed Metamorphogenesis. I wanted to try to get some others involved. I wouldn't rule out some more Esoteric in the future, though. :wink:

You should review Angelwitch general - Death penalty. That's a doom metal classic with some NWOBHM flirting

You're mixing Angel Witch and Witchfinder General... but both, Angel Witch - Angel Witch and Witchfinder General - Death penalty deserve reviews.
