I think the songs are best on Valley, but the production does hamstring it a bit. Black Fire, Black Winter Night, Starfire, Disciples of Babylon....I don't think they've topped these songs.

All of those songs are awesome, especially Starfire, Heart of A Dragon too is infectious. I prefer the second album, but when I say its better than the first album, its really only mean by like a few points, if the production was better I would probably like them equally. Also it helps that I have alot of good memories attached to Sonic Firestorm from when I was in BC in March when I bought it, So when I listen to it, I get all fuzzy inside :dio:  :dio:

I picked up Savage Circus, which I really like (Is just like old BG) but it is almost ruined by horrid cover art and screaming about Elves every 10 seconds. I was almost embarrased to look the record store chick in the eye buying it, none the less a good album.

Also picked up Accepts Restless and Wild and Balls to the Wall for like 4.99, time to replace the vinyl I guess.

Thanks. I am looking forward to this CD.

I have just spent the last hour having my a$$ kicked by Hibria and Ilium. Well played traditional metal for the Maiden/Priest fans...
