That's because badass riffs bore you! You like emo noodling.

I dunno, it might be like why I don't like a lot of thrash and nwobhm... where theres a lot of riffs that I've heard that are derived from their riffs but made more interesting... so I find the originals to be just more boring versions of stuff I've already heard. but they still sounded pretty bad, like if Fear Factory were retarded or something.

SWEET! Now that we're straight, check out Michael Hedges! He sadly died in a car accident in 1996 or so. This dude would play different things on the guitar with each hand and use the body as percussion at the same time! Crazy harmonics, ridiculous riffs, the dude was fucking unreal!!

Fag.

I like my men to look like women. Eases the sick feeling in my stomach.

Aah, that's why you like Misha so.

I hope everyone can detect the jealous, soul-eating hatred in this post of Eyesore's. His keyboard is wet with tears, his cheeks are red from wailing.

HOLY SHIT!!!!! They were both incredible! I mean the stuff Stanley Jordan was doing with his picking hand was just beyond amazing!! Thats tapping taken to the next level!!! And Michael Hedges, not only was he a unbelievable guitarist but his song writing was just genius! I'm now on a mission to find all of his stuff!

edit I've decided to get John Williams on your asses! this guy is truly a guitar legend, no arguments!

That Victor Wooten solo gets me every time! I didn't know it was possible to do harmonics like that on a bass till i saw that.

Then you might also want to check out Jaco Pastorius, look for his song portraits of tracy, thats bass harmonics to a whole new level, in my opinion he was one of the best bass players ever.
