I changed my mind, I can't pay $15.99 for this band. I have to buy them used.

I think this is about as good as Leviathan to me. I still can't stand their singers so I don't think it will be album of the year though.

I prefer it to Leviathan after the first listen. Seems to be more going on.

But still, there's just something missing... I gues I will never know what it is.

I think I'm the only metalhead I know who just flat out doesn't like Mastadon. However I've only heard Leviathan but that's supposed to be their best release, it just did nothing for me. Maybe they molested me in a past life or something.

I'll give this new one a listen when I get round to it.

Oh yeah that must be it.

Because, see, Ken doesn't download! He is therefore better than you.

I kind of like them. I'm on the fence. I downloaded this new one last night, gave it a listen and actually didn't mind it, but I admit I wasn't paying much attention. I meant to buy one of their albums today, but Remissions was $15.99, Call Of The Mastodon was $13.99 and I just couldn't convince myself to go for it.

I haven't given anything they've done a really good listen, and they seem like a band I would like, but I'm just weary of buying their albums for some reason. I don't get it.

Relax, Ken, they've lost no custom from me. I wouldn't have bought it anyway.

I really don't see what the big hype is all about, people seem to go bananas over this band but I just don't see (hear) why.

I'll give this album a spin or two though and see if I change my mind.

Finally I've managed to give the album a proper listen - its really, really good. This might be the Mastodon album I like the most - I'm glad they've toned down the vocals, for one thing.
