Awesome band. I dunno what to really call what they do. Heavy/Power/Theater Metal? Anyways, they released the third album "Third Act" this year and with it they have a new singer. Normaly I dislike vocal changes, but this new singer is incredible, he definately is sporting some Dio style vocals all over this record.

This album will definately be in my top 10 at the end of this year.

And for those who wish to check em out, here be one of my favorite tunes from the new album "Black Ravens Cry": http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?a ... 771B9B5E72

This link will be useless in 7 days so check it out now! And just to show you how serious I am, you have 3 days.

So many simpson references to throw out, so little time.

I own Theatrical Madness and I agree, awesome band. They play heavier power metal with neo-classical elements. I'll have to look more into their other releases.

Btw, that song you posted is pretty sweet. I'm usually not into the slower stuff, but that song is good.

It's the same vocalist who sang on Firewind's latest album. Definitely a damn good vocalist. It's a good thing he came to Evil Masquerade when he did, because this is definitely their best album yet.

I thought he sounded familiar. That's Apollo from Time Requiem.

So this guy has been around the block? Kind of a band prostitute? Anyways, I'll have to check out both the new Firewind and Time Requiem.

I have a feeling you'll really like Firewind. You seem to like the heavier stuff. As for TR, I recommend The Inner Circle of Reality. Your face will melt off from a keyboard overload.

Ive heard a few Firewind songs before and while the music was really good, it never really stuck. I think because of the vocals, but if they have this guy now, Im sure to like it.

I'll definately check out that TR album, I love me some good keys now and then.

I think Apollo is the worst of Firewind's three vocalists so far. I loved Stephen Fredrick's shouty rasp (a lot of people don't like him) and Chity Somapala's Tony Martin impression.

Apollo really does justice to the old songs live, though, which is cool. He's a good vocalist, I just think he could be more aggressive.

Check out that track SM posted. That's the most aggresive I've heard him yet.
