Yes, quite a nice album on first impressions. I seriously loved Cult when that track was released, but I haven't heard anything else yet to match it on the album. Not given it too much attention yet, though.

I haven't heard all that much Slayer, but I enjoyed South Of Heaven alot. is this similar?

Fuck my shitty internet connection...I will just buy it this weekend, it sounds pretty promising. Plus I really liked Cult, and so did everyone else I let hear it.

Sweet! I'll listen to it tomorrow and then post a brief "mini-review" for it.

By the way, DevotedWalnut, you mean you'll buy the album "Next Weekend." It's not supposed to be out until Tuesday. :D

Oh sorry, I thought it was out on Friday. And I was actually looking forward to getting it, oh well I guess since I have waited this long I can wait a little longer.

Do NOT let "Jihad" and "Eyes of the Insane" warp your perception of this album...It fucking kills GHUA and Diaboulus (sp?) in every way. I can't believe when I heard "Supremist", but yes..SLAYER BLAST BEATS!! "Flesh Storm" and "Consfearacy" tear it up, and "Black Serenade" is a creepy, slower song that harkens to Dead Skin Mask and others from Seasons. It's like the band woke up from a 12 year long coma and started playing the way they've always played. It is official:

Slayer > Metallica

and so it is written...
