Sir Lord Baltimore [Mp3]

Sir Lord Baltimore, is a 70s rock band from New York in the vein of Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep and Black Sabbath, so if you like the after mentioned bands be sure to check this highly underrated band.

All my references to that band are that they were a great influence for a lot of stoner bands.

Listening to the tracks I hear a lot of Led Zep, less Sabbath.

Interesting band (second class one) but I can't understand why they are so influential. It's cool to say that obscure bands influence your music more than famous ones?

Maybe, but i never said they were influential, just underrated wich i think they are, i totally agree with the zeppelin reference.

Yeah, there is some serious Zep moments on these tracks. There are some early Sabbath sounds too, especially on "Woman Tamer" and "Kingdom Come." There are a lot of Sabbath songs like that, but people—especially the younger generation—generally only know the famous Sabbath songs you hear on the radio, you know?

This is actually really good, though. How many albums did the band have, just the two?
