 Post subject: Good "Date Songs"?

Do any of you have any metal (or hard rock) songs that give off a bit of a romantic vibe? You know, songs you feel you could play either up front or in your mind when on a date. What are they?

Here are a few of mine:

Alice in Chains - Bleed The Freak

Anthrax - Safe Home

In Flames - Lord Hypnos (yeah, I know it's weird)

Helloween - Many songs (especially Revelation, Push, Pleasure Drone and yes even Don't Stop Being Crazy).

Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Babies, SIN

Megadeth - Addicted To Chaos

Iced Earth - I Died For You, Jekyll and Hyde

There are probably many more. But these are all the songs off the top of my head at the moment.

Anal Cunt - You Got Date Raped (these guys have a song for every occasion  )

Seriously, most Sentenced and Anathema songs. They're pretty good for dates. Especially Anathema - Angelica. I actually used it once on a date. Sharing headphones is essential.

Blind Guardian -- The Maiden And The Minstrel Knight

This song makes me want to make out with whoever happens to be next to me at the time.

Here are a few more:

A Perfect Circle - The Hollow, Brena, Sleeping Beauty.

In Flames - Colony, As The Future Repeats Today.

Alice In Chains - No Excuses.

Slayer - Stain Of Mind (another odd choice).

Metallica - Die, Die My Darling! (Misfits Cover).

Anything by the Cranberries. To name a few songs, Linger, No Need To Argue, or Zombie.

Some synth-y Rush?

Or if your name is Jeff, The Mars Volta.

Otherwise, I'd have thought some jazz or ambient would be better...

All of Ulvers Kveldssanger

Green Carnation - All of Aucostic Verses and A Blessing in Disguise
Darkestrah - All of Sary Oy

Sapthuran

Of The Wand and the Moon

Later Burzum (Filosofem and Hvis Lysett Tar Oss)

Thy Catafalque

Taake

Ved Buens Ende

Wolves in The Throne Room

No, i cant thinnk of specific songs, thats just a list of bands and albums whose music i find beautiful, (and in some cases soft) enough to play in front of a girl.

But you know being a very angry lonely nerd, who has various mental problems and is extremely shy and social awkward, i dont really play music to girls. (Or really just 'hang out' and listen to music with anyone.) (In fact, i dont really associate with people at all)

:( Suicide maybe?

Haha, in high school on my first date I played war ensemble followed by Pleasure Slave by Manowar. Needless to say I didn't get laid that night or at all until after I had graduated. Seriously though, fuck that chick. I was probably the only guy cool enough in school to rock Kings of Metal and not be ashamed.
