Ridiculous!

The blonde chick looked really enthusiastic to be in the video.

That video was made for the european track and field championship in Gothenburg, Sweden in August this year. The blond chick is Kajsa Bergqvist, one of the best high jumpers in the world. Btw the song is quite good and the video is nowhere near as silly as the curling video :P

The new song is generica defined. :( For some silly reason I had my hopes up for this album. Now they're definitely muted.

And that new song's rubbish. This band just gets worse and worse. As for the vid, at least the hawt athletic chick was watchable, but what next? Egg-and-spoon races?

Just last week you said you never lisitined to them? You down load their entire catalogue since then?

Anyways, Hammerfall is Hammerfal, wtf do people expect from this band? They are what they are, commercial sounding 80's Metal, a mix of Dokken Warlcok and Accept with some speedy Helloween parts thrown in. I would personally rate everyone of their albums a 5/10 but still enjoy them......

I think they've got progressively worse with every release (although Crimson Thunder might be better than Renegade).

They've totally lost all their speed and aggression (limited as it was) and are basically reduced to to replaying inreasingly diluted versions of the same songs over and over.

Where did I say I'd never listened to them? I checked them out ages ago and hated it. I've gone back since then, and although they have some good songs, they still sound C-class to me.

You said you'd hardly heard any of their stuff, but every song you did hear sounded like Sign of the Hammer (so you obviously weren't listening very closely  ).

Well, all of their songs seem to feature hammers or hearts, so... Anyways, Manowar pwn Hammerfall, even that enjoyably rubbish album of theirs that I've got.

The song was ok. The video was pretty lame but better than the curling one. What's up with all the commercials, Acuvue and such?

exactly....good point. Fun and silly. Anyone ever hear the Warlord album Caims sang on? I didn't buy just out of respect for early Warlord but I was always curious.

Zad you were asking people for recommendations on Hammerfall then you came here and said you hated all their albums? Maybe I read you wrong.......

I was after their best stuff, but even that seems pretty average.
