I haven't heard Drudkh and i'm not super into Nile or Dark Tranquillity but they're definitely good.

And Ihsahn's stuff doesn't work for me. Like he's trying to mix prog and extreme stuff, and it just falls apart. Plus those annoying high vocals, which only ever worked on Peccatum albums, because they fit the weirdness of it...

This actually got me thinking if not Character is the best user rated album on MR. An average of 96, with 43 votes. That's damn impressive. I can't think of an album that can match those scores and votes altogether.

I'm probably going to get bashed for all eternity for writing this, but I only get a "this is just ok"-feeling about Death. I've listened to The Sound of Perseverance, Fate and Human. So, since I don't think it's a good band, but rather just ok, I'll have to remove it from the list. Be gentle please.
