Spears a legend?? no fucking way.....
if you want to talk about a female pop legend, Madonna fits the label...
not the wannabe Spears.

I would choose MILLIONS of pop artists over Spears.
but I do agree that Spears is good at what she does, which is selling and showing her body, which I like to call musical prostitution.

Absolutely. Obviously Madonna is most popular ever, at least quite close, but pop music is generally a genre where artists come and go constantly. A lot of artists have hits and do well, but few do as well as the likes of Spears, Aguillera and Pink, you know? So in context of how that genre/industry operates I'd definitely say that Spears is a legend (in context). She will solidify her place when the sex tape leaks.

There's so many pop artists out their to choose from, that Britney Spears would never be chosen. Cyndi Lauper, Tina Turner ... anything but Spears.... On top of that the ones that deserves to be called legends will trenscend time. In 10 years people will go Britney who? When you'll here a spears song you'll go what's that crap, not that I don't already have that reaction...
her music will not past the test of time.

Yep. What I find funny about Pink, most of her hits have been written by Linda Perry from 4 Non Blondes. She's also written huge hits for other artists like Christina Aguillera, yet out of all of Perry's albums, including 4 Non Blondes and multiple solo albums, she's had just one fucking hit! That's stupid "What's Up?" song. Hahahaha! How the fuck does that happen? Is she too ugly?

I think it will, it's already been 10 years, has it not? They still play her shit. We'll see, if she continues going down the path she's on she'll soon be living in a diamond-encrusted trailer on the banks of the Mississippi River, smoking, drinking, and popping out little K-Feds. We'll see, though.

*sees Britney spears and the word legend used in the same sentence, rushes out of the house and plays some Dee-uh-cide while sacrificing two goats in the name of Satan*

Pity none of them ever play themselves for me. And the vocalist is annoying.

Wait, she wasn't doing that already? I believe she's on K-Fed baby number 2. Also, she's a Brunette now, which is a mighty improvement.

a) Dimebag being an amzing guitar player.

Agreed, he had the skills.

b) Dimebag being an amazing songwriter

Opinons i say, nothing else, and you cant force that stament by saying how big Pantera was, if that was the case Exhorder should be fucking hughe, the same thing goes for saying "you dont like Pantera because you havent even heard them or you werent there or you are too young or whatever" look Ken you just have to accept the fact that some people dont like the same stuff than you, yes Pantera were big, no doubt about that, but trust me when i said this, a lot of metalheads werent so crazy about them in the 90's myself being one of them, about Dimebag being put in legend satus because of his death, there is some thruth about it, sure Dimebag was recognized as great guitar player back when he was alive, no doubt about it, every metalhead would agree on that, but you cant also deny that his death made a lot of kids saying he was the greatest player ever, when in fact alot of them never did heard more than a couple of Pantera songs.

c) Kurt Cobain being an amazing songwritter

the same thing applies, opinions, nothing else, good that you like Nirvana i dont, never did, a lot of my friends loved it, for me all of the songs sounds the same, boring and uninspired, and i just hate his whole fucking attitude on stage like "Im too stoned, bitter and depressed to entertain you guys, but you keep buying my records, and coming to my shows so i can afford more drugs".

And last but not least, i love you ken nothing against you man
:)
